Derek and Emily are a fun and sweet couple who's family means the most to. From the moments with Emily's parents and grandma, to the details of including Derek's boys as Emily became their stepmom, and the surprise of Derek's best friend being at the wedding, the day was so full of close to your heart memories. Emily started the day out with her girls and taking some time to make sure her niece felt extra special as the flower girl followed by a touching first look with her parents. They also made sure to have a moment together while keeping Derek blindfolded as not to spoil the big reveal of his bride before the ceremony! As Emily and her dad walked down the aisle, Emily had a look on her face that clearly said "This day is finally here!" and Derek couldn't have had a bigger smile on his face as his soon to be wife came towards him! Emily wrote some touching words to her stepsons and read them as a part of the ceremony. Then it was time to start the party! It's safe to say Derek and Emily and their guest like to have good time. Laughs were heard constantly during cocktail hour, throughout a delicious dinner, and during speeches. And you know it's going to be a good night when the bride changes out of her gown into yoga pants and her "Wifey" t-shirt so she can get her dance on!
